A typical system would consist of a digital matrix that manages all audio inputs such as background music, paging, pre-recorded messages etc. For paging purposes such a system can be set up with zone paging microphones or connected to an analogue or VOIP PBX for zone paging using the phone system. They system will also handle all complicated audio processing with ease and can be expanded to an almost unlimited amount of zones in a facility. Speakers in various areas are then connected to the system and the system will monitor the functionality of the speakers and report any faults via email.
A highly distributed system can also be provided in areas where IP is the only solution for audio distribution
